4 Star Dog Training offers a wide range of services, from show handling to puppy boot camp. With over 17 years of show handling experience, and over 20 years of obedience training, Andi, short for Andrea, decided to start 4 Star Dog Training. She has shown breeds from Brittanys to Bullmastiffs, and trained everything from Bichons to Labrador Retrievers.

Obedience programs are tailored to each dog and what each owner is looking to accomplish. 4 Star Dog Training will provide a consultation and provide different options for how to move forward. Some behavioral issues only require one or multiple weekly in-home sessions, whereas some owners choose to send their 10 week old puppies to Andi's home for initial crate and potty training, socialization, and beginning obedience. Show handling services are available at most local Colorado shows. Owners can drop off dogs at Andi's house before the weekends shows begin, or can be handed to her just outside the ring. Andi does travel out of state for shows, and is available for handling, transportation, and grooming on a limited basis, so get your requests in early! It is general practice for a dog to accompany Andi to at least one drop-in conformation class, at either Blue Springs N Katydid or at Play Stay & More, to ensure the dog is prepared for competition. Andi not only enjoy dogs, but she understands them. Her philosophy begins with recognizing that every dog is different. The first step in training, whether it is for teaching basic manners or preparing a dog for the show ring, is understanding each dog and what situation it is coming from so you can plan out their individual training ahead.
